Koru Games

Over the last three days all of the year 7/8s went to the Koru Games.
I really enjoyed the competition and how we won our first game by a goal scored by me.
I really improved in my passing skills and not to kick the ball randomly. Even though the goal that I scored was a random kick.
Overall i found out that the koru games were very challenging.

Te reo

This week for te reo we went over our Vocabulary in maori and we practiced how we felt in maori.But my next step is to learn my mihi of by heart.I am 3 quarters away from doing that

Science

WALT-Watch how idems react with liquid.

In science we put citrus acid and baking powder in a cup of water to get a reaction.Then we tryed it again but put more in it to see if it was a bigger reaction and it did.After that we put currents and vineger together and make the currents go up and down.My next step is to ask better questions and try answer more questions.

Science

In science our first activity was who was smarter boys or girls.But the point of that activity was to make a fair test.Our next activity was to see if a sugar cube would dissolve quicker if the water was warmer witch was true.

Writing goal

W.A.L.T write a speech and then edit it  focussing on punctuation.My writing goal is to finish my draft and then edit my draft.

When editing look for capitals and full stops.

Put at least 3 paragraphs.

Put a introduction and a conclusion.

Maths goal

WALT-Classify numbers by using factors.

SC-Multiples.

-Factors.

-Prime numbers.

My next step is to finish my activity and go on the the assessment task.

Reading goal

My reading goal is Language features witch means we find Words from the text to get overall idea of the text.
